Technical implementation and configuration

Once the project objectives are clearly formulated and communicated within the company, the first phase starts with the installation of the Q.Wiki on the enterprise server (usually in a LAMP environment). We adapt the Q.Wiki according to your specific requirements in order to ensure the intended use is optimally supported by the tool.

In the second step we connect the Q.Wiki with the user administration and role management of your IT (AD/LDAP). If desired, we are also happy to implement single-sign-on. Thereby once users are logged on to the computer they are automatically authenticated in Q.Wiki.

In case of global companies and corporations the conceptual design and implementation of relevant wiki infrastructure takes place in this phase as well. Thus, virtual wikis and rights areas are already defined at an early stage.

Whilst technical implementation and configuration continues concomitantly, the content-related work also begins at this point. Besides an adaptation to the corporate identity, functional requests like additional applications, connections to other systems such as SAP or the integration of systems such as content management, take place in this phase.
