One question drives me in everyday working life: Why do so many companies struggle to retain and share employee knowledge? Most organizations have a wealth of expertise — but it often stays locked in people’s heads instead of being made accessible to everyone. Sometimes because it’s neither encouraged nor expected; sometimes because “exclusive knowledge makes me important.” But I firmly believe that organizations can only succeed in the long run if they inspire their people to grow their knowledge together. That takes smart, practical solutions — and I’m passionate about promoting this idea every single day.
