Business processes are the backbone of every company and have a daily impact on overall success. In my experience observing sales teams at other companies, process information is rarely used in sales. In fact, sales is often seen as the natural enemy of process documentation — with arguments like “every customer is unique,” “this can’t be standardized,” or “I’ve always done it this way.” I believe that’s a mistake. Sharing best practices in sales has a lasting, positive effect on a company’s overall sales performance. I’m driven by the challenge of turning knowledge and best practices into tangible, everyday value — both for the sales process and across all business operations.
